Efi Hackmey

Pianist Efi Hackmey performs widely as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2013, he released an album which includes several world premiere recordings (Polish Violin Music with violinist Kinga Augustyn). His recent performances have included solo recitals at Lincoln Center's Rose Studio, the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage and performances with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra in Israel and a chamber music recital at the Padereski Festival in Paso Robles, Calif. He holds a Doctor of Music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and degrees in piano and conductin from Tel Aviv University. He is on the piano faculty at the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C. Efi is pleased to take the stage at Wilson College once again courtesy of the generosity of Bruce and Denise Foreman.
