Students in Professor Thomas Armstrong's "Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management" class will pitch their ideas for business startups, Shark Tank-style, to a roomful of observers - including a distinguished panel of business experts on Thursday, May2. Presentations, which are open to all interested parties, will be held in the John Stewart Memorial Library's Lenfest Learning Commons.
Each student will have no more than three minutes to present their idea to the three-member panel, followed by a two-minute question-and-answer session. At that time, the panel will offer each student feedback on their presentation, minus the financing provided on the television series.
The three member panel members are Kelly S. Wylam, Director, Innovation Partnership; Kathyrn Gratton, Chapter Chair, SCORE Four State Chapter; and Michael Unruh, Ed.D., Director, Small Business Development Center.
