Barbara Masters has had an extensive career as a performer, church organist, accompanist, teacher, musical theater director, and composer. Ms. Masters has performed concerts in the U.S. and abroad, most recently with the Visitation Choir at Notre Dame in Paris, in Rome, and in Assisi. Join us for a FREE master class on the organ and piano taught by Barbara Masters.

Lunch and Learn – NASA’s InSight and the Deep Space Atomic Clock

Hear Wilson Professor, Chad Lower, tell you about what's new at NASA. 

Deep Space Atomic Clock: NASA has built an atomic clock they hope to use on future missions. In October or November 2018, it will launch into an orbit around the earth for about a year while they continue testing the clock. Current launch date looks like November 19.
 
InSight Landing on Mars: The spacecraft InSight was launched May 2018 en route to Mars. It should arrive at Mars and land November 26, 2018.

Banned Books Read-Out

Did you know that the most challenged book in America last year was Jay Asher's Thirteen Reasons Why?

Did you know that this week, the last week of September, is Banned Books Week?

So come join faculty, staff, and students for another Banned Books Read-Out and Film Screening!

This Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., communications students will hold a Banned Books Read-Out in the Lenfest Learning Commons, where you can read aloud from any banned book of your choice.
