Longwood Gardens Don’t Miss A Visit to Longwood Gardens - Friday, May 15, 2015 Join Wilson College alumnae, family and friends as we visit Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. In 1906 Pierre du Pont purchased the property and later transformed it into one of the country’s leading display gardens. May is a special time to visit the magical outdoor gardens and Conservatory ablaze with brilliant spring colors. The newly expanded Meadows showcase native wild flowers and grasses. A special tour of the eastern gardens has been arranged for our group. Tour of gardens and admission $25.00 per person Garden Tour at 10:00 am (Please meet in the Visitor Center near group sales at 9:30 a.m.) Lunch is not included in the tour price. If you would like to stay for lunch please select one of the following options: _______ 1906 Restaurant, a fine dining experience (we will make a reservation for you if you choose this restaurant, providing tables are still available.
