Wilson College Directory Michelle Miller Position Assistant Professor of Equine Studies Academic Program Equine Studies Contact via e-mail Bio Michelle Miller ’21, ’25, assistant professor in equine studies, is a proud Wilson College alumna who holds a Bachelor of Science in Equine Facilitated Therapeutics (EFT). She is a certified therapeutic riding instructor through the Council of Education and Certification in Therapeutic Horsemanship (CECTH), and a professional member of the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.). In December 2025, she graduated with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Wilson. Before returning to her alma mater to teach, Miller launched a therapeutic lesson program at an established lesson barn. During her time there, she served as the Therapeutic Riding Program Director and Head Instructor, Assistant Barn Manager, and Assistant Coach for the stable's Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Hunt Seat team. At Wilson, Miller focuses on helping her students grow into capable and confident riding instructors and leaders in the industry. She teaches most of the classes in the EFT major, as well as many within the Teaching and Training concentration of the Equine Studies degree.
