Commencement 2024

  The undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies will be one combined ceremony at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Commencement Weekend Schedule

Friday, May 3

4:30 p.m.  Graduation Rehearsal & Pickup of Rain Tickets, if needed (Alumnae Chapel/Thomson Hall)

5:30 p.m.  Ring It Forward Ceremony

6 p.m.  Senior Bash (location TBD)

Saturday, May 4

10 a.m.  Combined Honor Societies Ceremony (Alumnae Chapel/Thomson Hall)

11 a.m.  Veterinary Nursing Pinning Ceremony (Brooks Auditorium)

12:45 p.m.  Assembly of Graduating Class for Baccalaureate (Outside Thomson Hall)

1 p.m.  Baccalaureate Ceremony (Alumnae Chapel/Thomson Hall)    

2:15 p.m.  Nursing Convocation Ceremony (Main Green/Rain Location: Brooks Aud.)

3:30 p.m.  TCP Completers Recognition (Alumnae Chapel/Thomson Hall)

4:30-5:30 p.m.  President’s Garden Party (Sharpe House Lawn/Rain Location: Laird Hall)    

Sunday, May 5

No later than 8:45 a.m.  All students (associate, bachelors, master’s degree candidates) line up (In front of Warfield Hall, dressed in appropriate regalia: cap, tassel, gown, and hood. Associate and bachelor’s degree candidates should have their hood on. Master’s degree candidates will drape their hood over their arm, as instructed.)

9:50 a.m.  Processional Begins                

10 a.m.  Commencement Ceremony (Main Green/Rain Location: Laird Hall)
