Bio

Philip Lindsey, M.A., M.F.A., teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs at Wilson College. He is the academic advisor for art and design undergraduates and serves as a mentor to students in the M.F.A. program.
Lindsey has exhibited widely over a thirty-year career, with works selected by major museum curators for national and international juried exhibitions in museums, galleries, and alternative spaces. He maintains currency through practice-led research in a studio provided by Wilson College and is the recipient of numerous awards. He continues to exhibit regionally and nationally on a regular basis.

Lindsey earned a bachelor’s degree in art education and a master’s degree in painting from Western Carolina University. He earned his Master of Fine Arts in painting and drawing at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. See Lindsey’s artwork here: http://www.philip-lindsey.com.
