The ASC is here to supplement the classroom experience with tailored tutoring and action planning to help your student achieve their academic goals. Career Development Building a resume and applying studies in the real world can both be daunting. Our career center offers guidance and resources to support your students internship and future employment opportunities. Student Wellness We recognize that students have to balance a lot of change and responsibility while pursuing their degrees. That’s why we offer mental, physical, and spiritual health services including counseling, medical and chaplaincy support to nurture student wellness. Library The historic John Stewart Memorial Library originally opened in 1925 and later restored and expanded in 2016 offers study rooms, presentation space, and of course, access to both digital and print research materials. On top of the excellent learning spaces, each Wilson student is assigned a personal librarian to help them with their research. FINANCIAL AID AND PAYING FOR COLLEGE The leading concern of parents and students during their college search is cost. Wilson is proud to offer the unique benefits of a private education experience at the same price as comparable public institutions. We also have a dedicated office to help you and your student manage the financial weight. They can help your student explore scholarships, work through FAFSA and loans, apply for work-study positions, and other financial services. The best way to get started is to schedule an appointment with a representative from our Office of Student Financial Services. SAFETY Wilson is located in a safe residential area of Chambersburg, Pa., and our 24-hour security staff, borough police partners, and trained Resident Assistants enable us to respond to any safety situation. There are security beacons throughout campus giving students the peace of mind that immediate support is one button push away. For more detailed information about our safety policies and protocols, please visit our campus safety page. PARENT INVOLVEMENT Formed by passionate parents who sought to help students succeed even further, the Wilson College Parents Council has created an opportunity for parents and family members to be involved and informed participants in our community. Interested in having a greater voice in your student’s campus experience? Inquire Here DINING In Spring 2022, Jensen Dining Hall underwent new renovations making it one of the most popular destinations for students to eat, hang out, and catch up with friends. Featuring all-you-can eat buffet style meals, our dining service provided by SAGE offers something for everyone. They even offer a nifty app that shows day-of and future menus, the ability to sort menus by allergens, and a “favorite” button that allows you to quickly see if one of your preferred dishes is being served soon. Coming this Fall, we will unveil a brand new coffee shop and late night dining option in one of the student center’s lounges. CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES From advocacy groups to our dance ensemble, academic-leaning clubs to community service groups, students have the opportunity to extend their learning and experiences beyond the classroom. One of the best aspects of our small, focused campus is that any student can champion a new club, receive funding, and build a new community of members.
