About the Antiquities Collection

The Wilson College Antiquities Collection and Barron Blewett Hunnicutt Gallery are overseen by the Barron Blewett Hunnicutt Gallery committee in the Wilson College Division of Arts and Letters. The immediate supervision of the collection and gallery falls to Curator-Chair of the committee, Bonnie Rock-McCutcheon, Instructor of Ancient World Studies. Email brock@wilson.edu with any questions about the collection or gallery.

Visit Us!

We are excited to share the current exhibition and the collection with you and your students! We are offering multiple ways to experience the exhibit and collection:

  • Visit us on the Wilson College Campus!  We are happy to offer one of the workshops described below or to design a workshop to meet the goals of your course. Experiences can be tailored to the needs of students and other groups of all ages. Email brock@wilson.edu for more information.
  • Ask us to come to you! Bonnie Rock-McCutcheon can come visit your classroom or group, provided you are within a 100-mile radius (approximately) of Chambersburg PA. We can design a workshop specifically for your class, bring objects, and bring AR and VR tools meant to help students experience the gallery and collection.
  • Too far to come to us or have us come to you? Experience the exhibit and collection using the resources on our website! (Coming Soon)
