The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Wilson College is a structured two-year accelerated, hybrid pathway for purpose-driven individuals. Your DPT Journey at Wilson College

The dynamic structure of our DPT Program blends innovative and intentional learning. The asynchronous and synchronous sessions are matched with intensive lab immersions by nationally recognized faculty in a newly designed facility in King of Prussia. 

The design of the program leverages educational technologies that foster community, collaboration, and client focused care that empowers graduates to be future healthcare leaders. As a student, you gain the fundamental knowledge and leadership skills that expand your professional role as agents of change that add value and improve outcomes to healthcare and rehabilitation experiences.

Admissions Information

Our DPT Program offers two distinct pathways and uses a holistic approach.

Applications must be submitted through PTCAS.

Students must meet the following admissions criteria for acceptance into the program and prior to beginning coursework:

1. A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
2. A minimum cumulative and science GPA of 3.00. 
    

DPT Pathways:  

1. Bachelor’s degree - traditional freshman pathway with prerequisites.
2. Bachelor’s degree with an active professional healthcare license.
     a. Athletic Trainers, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Emergency Medical Technicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Respiratory Therapists.
     b. Prerequisites are waived.

CAPTE Accreditation

Wilson College is seeking accreditation of a new physical therapist education program from CAPTE. The program is planning to submit an Application for Candidacy, which is the formal application required in the pre-accreditation stage, on November 1st, 2026. Submission of this document does not ensure that the program will be granted Candidate for Accreditation status. Achievement of Candidate for Accreditation status is required prior to implementation of the professional phase of the program; therefore, no students may be enrolled in professional courses until Candidate for Accreditation status has been achieved. Further, though achievement of Candidate for Accreditation status signifies satisfactory progress toward accreditation, it does not assure that the program will be granted accreditation.
