Exercise Science Articulation Agreements

Thomas Jefferson’s Masters of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) Program

The Agreement:

  • Accelerated 3 + 2 plan of study that saves students time and money (5 years as opposed to 6)
  • Students complete 3 years at Wilson and then transfer to Thomas Jefferson to complete the MSAT program
  • Guaranteed acceptance to all Wilson College students who successfully fulfill admission requirements

Why Thomas Jefferson’s MSAT program?

  • Advanced clinical skills which include suturing, IV placement, intubation, inoculation, joint mobilization, joint manipulations, etc.
  • General medical rotation in the Jefferson Medical System
  • 20 weeks of full immersion clinicals
  • Highly qualified and still practicing faculty
  • Eligible to sit for national EMT certification following the completion of the 1st year of graduate studies
  • Eligible to sit for NSCA strength and conditioning exam upon graduation

 

Northeast College of Health Sciences’ Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Program

The Agreement:

  • 4 + 3 agreement
  • Students complete 4 years at Wilson earning their bachelor’s degree; and then attend 3 years at Northeast College of Health Sciences to complete the chiropractic doctoral program.
  • Guaranteed acceptance to all Wilson College students who successfully fulfill admission requirements
  • Students who graduate from Wilson College with a 3.0 cumulative Grade Point Average will be automatically awarded a Northeast College of Health Sciences merit scholarship valued at $1,500
