Orchesis

About:
Created in the 1940s, Orchesis began as Wilson College’s premiere dance ensemble. Now, a student-led organization, Orchesis is a fun, supportive team that provides members with an opportunity to experience all facets of dance: workshops, teaching, choreography, performance, costume design, technical production, and more.  No experience is necessary.  Orchesis aims to introduce students to broad opportunities for active participation in a variety of forms and forums of dance. 

Orchesis participates in school activities and collaborates with other groups to create a sense of camaraderie and community on campus. Fundraisers are held throughout the year to raise money for events that strengthen the dance curriculum.

Membership:
