Sport Management Learning Outcomes Upon completion of their program curricula, students who complete a major in Business and Economics will be able to:analyze the implications and dynamics of business ownership structures (private and public), organization (departments and authority), and principles of management (POLC),demonstrate knowledge of the function and strategic purpose of business processes such as accounting, finance, legal, sales, marketing, human resource management, and operations,recognize and contextualize the socio-cultural and global factors that impact business decisions and how those decisions impact markets,apply technology, analytical methodologies, and critical thinking skills to evaluate and solve business problems,identify and solve ethical business dilemmas using ethical decision-making frameworks,demonstrate effective business communications skills, both written and oral, andbe well-prepared for the job market based on practical experiences through internships, experiential learning, networking opportunities, and career readiness services.
