Description of Responsibilities for Graduate Assistants in the Admissions Office Meeting with visiting students and parents in the absence of the admissions counselors. This would include providing them with information about application procedures for admission all the way through to paying an enrollment deposit. Coordinating Take-a-Seat days. Assisting with open house events. Preparing applications for admissions counselors to review upon their return from their travels. This includes reading transcripts and pulling off college prep courses; determining cumulative GPA’s, etc. Assisting in our being able to stay on top of inquiries during the fall and spring travel seasons. Handling incoming phone calls for absent admissions counselors from students or parents with questions. Learning the Recruiter module to be able to update information on inquiries and applicants.
