The Hybrid MS-SLP Experience

MS-SLP Plan of Study

Students will engage in a 16-month accelerated hybrid curriculum comprising 56 credit hours completed over four semesters. Each semester consists of two 8-week terms, allowing for an intensive and focused learning experience.  Students complete rigorous online coursework paired with live, interactive instruction, simulation-based experiences, and comprehensive clinical preparation.

On-Site Residency Requirements

Students will participate in two on-site residencies, each lasting at least four full days:  

  • Residency Pediatric/Education: Emphasis on pediatric and school-age populations  
  • Residency Adult/Medical: Focus on adult populations, with exposure to special populations

Clinical Rotations:

  • 400 supervised clinical practice hours, (25 of which may be in clinical observation)
  • Supervised clinical experiences that are distributed throughout the program of study. The sequence of experiences varies based on when the cohort begins.

    • Externship Pediatric/Education
    • Externship Adult/Medical
