Psychology Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of their program curricula, students who complete a major in Biochemistry will be able to: 

PSY – General

Goal 1: Content Knowledge and Applications

Outcome: Describe knowledge across the major content areas and use psychological knowledge to assess practical problems.

Goal 2: Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking

Outcome: Demonstrate the ability to use scientific reasoning when conducting psychological research. 

­­­­Goal 3: Ethical Behavior, Communication Skills, and Professional Development

Outcome: Integrate psychological knowledge, ethical behavior, and communication skills in professional settings.

 

PSY – Healthcare

Goal 1: Content Knowledge and Applications

Outcome: Describe knowledge across the major content areas and use psychological knowledge to assess practical problems.

Goal 2: Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking

Outcome: Demonstrate the ability to use scientific reasoning when conducting psychological research.

Outcome: Integrates a bio-psychosocial approach to health and healthcare systems.

Brain Awareness Week


A psychology degree with a concentration in General, Leadership and Organizational Management, or Health Care is available in-person OR online. To pursue the Integrative Neuroscience concentration, students will learn through a hybrid approach, taking both in-person AND online classes.
